Jacob G. Johnson is an associate in the firm’s global energy transactions practice.

Practice & Background

Mr. Johnson graduated cum laude from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law where he served as a case note and comment editor for the International Law Review Association. During his time at SMU he served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Reed O’Connor of the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Texas, and as secretary of the Energy Law Association. He was a recipient of a scholarship from the Energy and Mineral Law Foundation in 2014.

Jacob received his B.A. in political science with a minor in communication from Texas A&M, where he was involved in student government and served as the liaison to the George Bush Presidential Library Foundation for the MSC Wiley Lecture Series.
