Kallie A. Gallagher is an associate in the firm’s litigation practice.
Practice & Background
Ms. Gallagher holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science as well as a Master of Public Administration from Texas A&M University. She graduated with honors from the University of Texas School of Law in 2015. During law school, Ms. Gallagher interned for the Honorable Judge Andrew W. Austin of the Western District of Texas, was an articles editor for the Texas Journal of Oil, Gas, and Energy Law, and attended the annual “Pro Bono in January” trip to the Texas Rio Grande Valley, serving as a student leader during her third year of law school. During this annual pro bono trip, University of Texas law students work with partner organizations to provide legal assistance to residents in underserved communities in the Rio Grande Valley.
Ms. Gallagher was a member of Akin Gump’s Pro Bono Scholars class in 2013. As a Pro Bono Scholar, she worked for ProBAR in Harlingen, Texas, where she helped secure asylum for families crossing the Texas-Mexico border.
Prior to law school, Ms. Gallagher taught seventh grade humanities in Edinburg, Texas as a 2010 Teach for America corps member.
