Ms. Mickan’s practice focuses on corporate and securities matters.

Ms. Mickan earned her J.D. summa cum laude from Baylor Law School, graduating first in her class and serving as Editor-in-Chief of the Baylor Law Review.  During law school, Ms. Mickan interned for Justice William J. Boyce on the Texas Fourteenth Court of Appeals and assisted with Baylor Law School’s Adoption Day. Ms. Mickan served as a law clerk for the Honorable Sim Lake of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas following graduation.

Prior to law school, Ms. Mickan taught Algebra I at an open-enrollment public charter school system in Houston focused on college preparation for students in underserved communities. Ms. Mickan has volunteered with Houston Volunteer Lawyers and is a member of the Houston Bar Association.
