Nicholas H. Scott is a member of the firm’s corporate practice.

Mr. Scott focuses on mergers and acquisitions, blockchain matters, private equity transactions and debt finance. He represents clients in mergers and acquisitions, including purchase and sale transactions, strategic mergers, joint ventures, restructurings and recapitalizations, and other general corporate matters.

Mr. Scott also represents clients in cryptocurrency financings and blockchain related investments, helping clients navigate blockchain technologies and various regulatory and technical issues surrounding them. He recently advised XYZ Films in a cryptocurrency-funded, blockchain-distributed film financing deal which is the first film production ever to be financed and distributed using blockchain technology.

Mr. Scott received his J.D. from Columbia Law School in 2014, where he was a Stone Scholar and a member of the Mass Incarceration Clinic. He previously graduated with a B.S. summa cum laude from Tulane University, where he majored in economics and finance and played basketball for the Green Wave.
