Sophie Chu focuses on cross-border mergers and acquisitions (M&A), including equity transactions and assets transactions, and capital markets including Hong Kong, Taiwan and U.S. initial public offerings (IPO) and high-yield bond offering projects. Sophie also assists clients in cross-border commercial disputes, including U.S. litigation, international arbitration and mediation. 

Sophie represented Asian and international companies on project finance, banking, private equity transactions and general corporate matters for more than 10 years.

Earlier in her career, Sophie worked at leading international law firms in Hong Kong. She spent four years in a large Taiwanese Law firm focusing on company listing, cross-border M&A and general corporate matters. She also practiced in the United States for two and half years, mainly engaging in commercial and international litigation.
