Biography

Sudhana Bajracharya is an associate in the health care and life sciences practice. Mr. Bajracharya advises clients in the health care industry on a wide range of issues involving regulatory compliance, Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement and privacy.

Prior to attending law school, Mr. Bajracharya worked for an industry-leading hospital based in New York City, where he served as a liaison between patients and clinical teams. He volunteered with multiple ambulance agencies as an emergency medical technician and held various leadership positions, including agency chief and executive director. During law school, Mr. Bajracharya interned with the Office of the General Counsel at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and was a student attorney with the University of Michigan’s Pediatric Advocacy Clinic, a medical-legal partnership.

Mr. Bajracharya earned his J.D. cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School, where he was elected to the Order of the Coif and received the ABA-Bloomberg BNA Award for Excellence in the Study of Health Law. He was a contributing editor of the University of Michigan Journal of Law Reform. Mr. Bajracharya earned his B.A. cum laude from Binghamton University in 2011.

Mr. Bajracharya was a member of Akin’s 2016 summer associate class.
