Akin Gump a Finalist for LexisNexis Wellbeing Award

(Washington, D.C.) – Akin Gump has been shortlisted as a finalist for LexisNexis’ Legal Awards in the category of Wellbeing.

The award recognizes the law firm, chambers or in-house team, which has demonstrated the strongest commitment to providing or promoting a working environment that supports the mental and physical health of its staff, members or colleagues and enables them to maintain a healthy balance between their work pressures and home life.

Winners will be announced at the awards event in London on March 11.

Akin Gump’s commitment to lawyer and staff well-being has been covered extensively in the media. In June, for example, The American Lawyer featured several Akin Gump initiatives aimed at improving the mental health and well-being of its lawyers and staff (learn more here).
