Akin Gump Advises Comerica Bank in $125 Million Credit Facility for A24

(Los Angeles) – Akin Gump has advised Comerica Bank in the structuring and arranging of a $125 million credit facility for the film distribution, production and finance company A24.

Comerica and Union Bank originally provided A24 with a $50 million line of credit in 2014. The company behind such films as “Room” and “Ex Machina” plans to use the new facility to build up its film and television business.

Alissa Miller, senior counsel in Akin Gump’s entertainment and media practice, led the team advising Comerica. She was joined by partner P. John Burke, who heads the firm’s entertainment and media practice, and associate Vanessa Roman.
