Akin Gump Advises Energy Investors Funds in Strategic Partnership Formation

(New York) – Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP served as legal advisor to Energy Investors Funds (EIF) in the formation of a partnership with Midstream Capital Partners to identify and develop investment opportunities in the energy midstream space.

EIF is a private equity fund manager dedicated solely to the independent power and electric utility industry. The initial focus of its partnership with Midstream Capital will be on natural gas gathering systems. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The Akin Gump team was led by New York global project finance practice co-head Jacob Worenklein, Washington, D.C. investment funds partner Fadi Samman and New York tax partner David Burton.
