Akin Gump Advises Funds Affiliated with Apollo Global Management in Acquisition of RegionalCare Hospital Partners

(New York) – RegionalCare Hospital Partners Inc., a Warburg Pincus portfolio company, today announced that its indirect sole stockholder, RegionalCare Hospital Partners Holdings, Inc., has signed a definitive agreement to be acquired by funds affiliated with Apollo Global Management, LLC. Akin Gump advised Apollo in the transaction.

RegionalCare is the owner and operator of eight market-leading, non-urban hospitals in Alabama, Arizona, Connecticut, Iowa, Montana, Ohio and Texas. The transaction, subject to customer regulatory reviews and approvals, is expected to close by the end of the year.
