Akin Gump Advises Hicks Equity Partners in Formation of Industrial Components Company

(Dallas) – Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP advised Hicks Equity Partners in a partnership it established with The Riverside Company to form H-D Advanced Manufacturing Company, a holding company specializing in heavy-duty, precision-engineered industrial components. The former CEO of a Hicks portfolio company will lead H-D.
Akin Gump also advised Hicks in H-D’s first acquisition, that of Overton Chicago Gear Corporation, a manufacturer and distributor of mission-critical gears and gearboxes. Both deals were announced on December 11.
