(New York) – A team from Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP advised The Laclede Group in its $1.04 billion acquisition of Missouri Gas Energy and New England Gas Company. The price includes roughly $20 million in debt.
Both Missouri Gas Energy and New England Gas are divisions of Southern Union Company, itself an affiliate of Energy Transfer Equity and Energy Transfer Partners.
