Akin Gump Advises on Deal Shortlisted for Asia Legal Awards
(Hong Kong) – The successful restructuring of commodity trader Noble Group Ltd. has been nominated by The Asian Lawyer for its Asia Legal Awards 2019 in the category Finance Deal of the Year: Insolvency and Restructuring. The winner will be announced at a gala dinner in Hong Kong on March 21.
Akin Gump served as counsel to the ad hoc creditors of Noble Group. This work has also been shortlisted in the category Restructuring (Deals) for the IFLR Asia-Pacific Awards 2019 (learn more here), the winners of which will be announced in Hong Kong on March 7.
