Akin Gump Advises on Sale of Colorado Hotel

(Dallas) – Akin Gump advised VWI Partners in the sale of the Sheraton Denver Tech Center hotel located in Greenwood Village, Colo.

VWI is an investment venture that includes affiliates of the alternative investment firm Varde Partners, Inc., Waramaug Hospitality (which is owned by Paul A. Nussbaum) and Interstate Hotels & Resorts. The 263-guestroom hotel in suburban Denver was acquired by a related entity to ASAP Holdings and will continue to be operated by Interstate.

The Akin Gump team representing VWI included partner Carl Lee and counsel John Bain, both members of the firm’s real estate practice.
