Akin Gump Again Ranked Among Top Firms in Am Law’s Summer Associates Survey

(New York) – Akin Gump was once again ranked among the top 10 law firms in The American Lawyer’s annual Summer Associates Survey, which solicited the views of roughly 4200 summer associates about their experiences this year at Am Law 100 firms.
Beyond its placement among the top firms nationally, Akin Gump was among the few firms to receive a perfect score in the category of “overall place to work.” Additionally, the firm took the top spot among summer associates in Houston and Los Angeles, and placed in the top 10 in the three other cities in which it was ranked—Dallas, New York and Washington, D.C.

The American Lawyer’s annual Summer Associates Survey measures the satisfaction of summer associates employed by the nation’s law firms. Firms are scored based on ratings of various areas, including interest and satisfaction with the work, benefits and compensation, interaction with partners, training and more.
