(New York) – Akin Gump has once again been ranked by the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption as one of the top Adoption-Friendly Workplaces in the United States.

In this 12th annual survey, Akin Gump, which was ranked third within the Consulting, Accounting, Legal and Business Services industry, was noted for providing adoption-related benefits to employees that include up to 18 weeks of paid leave.

The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption is a national nonprofit charity focused exclusively on foster care adoption. The foundation works closely with child welfare advocates and policymakers, provides free resources about foster care adoption and raises awareness through social media campaigns, public service announcements and events.
