(Dallas) – Akin Gump is ranked among the top 10 law firms for corporate transactions involving businesses headquartered in Texas during the first quarter of 2018. That’s according to new data from Mergermarket that was provided to The Texas Lawbook. The firm is noted for both the value of the deals on which it advised as well as for the total number of deals.

In a separate ranking by The Texas Lawbook, the 2017 Corporate Deal Tracker—a measure of the M&A work being handled by lawyers based in Texas, regardless of where the companies are located—Akin Gump had a top 10 performance in deal count.
