Akin Gump Chairperson Kim Koopersmith Joins Advisory Board of Transforming Women’s Leadership in the Law

(New York) – Akin Gump chairperson Kim Koopersmith has joined the Advisory Board of Transforming Women’s Leadership in the Law (TWLL). TWLL was created by Thomson Reuters Legal and the Legal Executive Institute to “address structural barriers and creat[e] cultural change needed at the organizational level for women to succeed and advance in the legal industry.”

Ms. Koopersmith joins other distinguished women attorneys, among them leaders at other large law firms, corporations and organizations, on the board.

In addition to her role on TWLL’s Advisory Board, Ms. Koopersmith serves on the boards of the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund and Her Justice, an organization dedicated to assisting victims of domestic violence.
