Akin Gump Earns Mansfield Rule 4.0 Certified Plus Status

(Washington, D.C.) – Akin Gump is proud to announce that Diversity Lab has designated Akin Gump as a Mansfield Rule 4.0 Certified Plus law firm. In order to earn this certification, the firm completed a rigorous 12-month collaboration with Diversity Lab that emphasized measurement, transparency and accountability.
The Mansfield Rule 4.0 Certification distinction confirms that Akin Gump affirmatively considered at least 30 percent women, underrepresented racial/ethnic groups, LGBTQ+ lawyers, and lawyers with disabilities for leadership and governance roles, equity partner promotions, formal client pitch opportunities, and senior lateral positions. “Plus” status indicates that, in addition to meeting or exceeding the candidate pool consideration requirements for certification, Akin Gump successfully reached at least 30 percent diverse lawyer representation in a notable number of its current leadership roles and committees.
