(Washington, D.C.) – Akin Gump has been recognized by the Convergence Center for Policy Resolution, a nonprofit focused on solving social challenges through collaboration, for the firm’s longstanding pro bono support of the organization. The award was presented during Convergence’s 10th anniversary symposium.

In presenting the award, Convergence president and founder Robert Fersh cited Akin Gump’s support in areas such as human resources, intellectual property, real estate and policy research. The award was accepted by Washington, D.C. office partner in charge Anthony Pierce and health care and life sciences practice head John Jacob, who currently serves on Convergence’s board of trustees.
