Akin Gump Hosts Fundraiser for Washington Nationals Dream Foundation

In conjunction with the Washington Nationals Dream Foundation, an organization committed to community partnerships that improve the lives of children and families across the Washington Capital Region, Akin Gump hosted its second annual fundraising event to benefit this pro bono partner. “K Street Cocktails,” held on July 25, raised $16,000 for the organization from event ticket sales and a silent auction that included autographed Washington Nationals memorabilia and other items.
Akin Gump’s partnership with the Dream Foundation is spearheaded by public law and policy partners Rafi Prober and Scott Parven and firm pro bono partner Steven Schulman. In addition to hosting this fundraising event, the firm offers pro bono services to the organization.
