Akin Gump Named a Finalist for Middle East Legal Awards in Infrastructure and Energy Projects Team Work Category

(Dubai, United Arab Emirates) – Akin Gump has been shortlisted in the Infrastructure and Energy Projects Team of the Year category for The Middle East Legal Awards 2017. The awards are jointly hosted by Legal Week and the Association of Corporate Counsel Middle East chapter.

The firm has been nominated for its ongoing work advising Abu Dhabi Water & Electricity Company and its parent, the Abu Dhabi Water & Electricity Authority, in the development and financing of a power purchase agreement involving the world’s largest solar project.

Finalists for the awards were selected by the editorial teams of Legal Week and The American Lawyer. Winners will be announced at a dinner in Dubai on May 11.
