Akin Gump Named One of Houston’s Best Places to Work

(Houston) – The Houston Chronicle has named Akin Gump one of the Top Workplaces in Houston. Akin Gump is one of only three law firms to make the 2017 list, which includes 150 Houston-area employers. Companies on the list, according to the Chronicle, “found ways to maintain high employee morale” during what was described as “another difficult year” for the Houston economy.
More than 84,000 employees from businesses across the Houston area responded, rating their companies in areas such as potential for advancement, flexibility of work schedules, pay and benefits, and leadership. To qualify for inclusion, a company must have at least 35 percent of its Houston-based employees respond to the survey.
