Akin Gump Named One of Houston’s Top Workplaces for Third Straight Year

(Houston) – Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP has been named for the third straight year to the Houston Chronicle’s list of the top places to work in Houston.
The Chronicle’s list of Top 100 Workplaces recognizes businesses nominated by their employees. The findings are based on responses from more than 72,500 workers at more than 240 Houston-area companies to questions covering issues such as opportunities for advancement, the value of compensation and benefits, and the communication and management skills of their supervisors.
“Providing outstanding client service has always been a top priority of ours, but the happiness of our employees – both lawyers and staff – remains just as important,” said Chris LaFollette, the partner in charge of Akin Gump’s Houston office. “We are delighted to be included in this list once again, and I am very proud of the entire Akin Gump family here in Houston.”
The organizations on the list include public and private entities as well as nonprofit organizations. To qualify for inclusion, a company must have at least 35 percent of its employees respond to the survey.
