Akin Gump Quartet Named Among Lobbying “Shakers and Movers”
(Washington, D.C.) – Four Akin Gump policy practitioners—Vic Fazio, Joel Jankowsky, Scott Parven and Bill Paxon—have been named among the top “Shakers and Movers in Washington D.C.” by the Association of Accredited Public Policy Advocates to the European Union. The organization honored lobbyists in four categories: corporate, hired guns, associations and grassroots; the Akin Gump practitioners were recognized as “hired guns who have proven to clients that they can shape the agenda on Capitol Hill.”
Of the 222 organizations providing advocates to this list, Akin Gump is one of only two firms to have four practitioners recognized. In October, Fazio, Jankowsky, Parven and Paxon were also named, for the third consecutive year, to The Hill’s Top Lobbyists list.
