Akin Gump Ranked in Top 10, Advises on a Number of Shortlisted Matters in GRR Awards 2018

(London) – Akin Gump is pleased to note that, as announced at the 2018 GRR Awards ceremony sponsored by Global Restructuring Review, the firm was again ranked in the top 10 of the GRR 30, itself a ranking of the “standout firms in the GRR 100”—the publication’s guide to the leading international restructuring practices.

Additionally, five matters on which Akin Gump advised were shortlisted for recognition at the ceremony in the categories “Most important recognition decision” (In re Avanti Communications Group; In the matter of Agrokor DD) and “Cross-border cooperation in a specific restructuring or insolvency matter” (Seadrill Limited; SunEdison; Avaya), with Agrokor winning the former category, and Seadrill Limited’s restructuring winning the latter.

The awards ceremony was held Tuesday evening in London at the Banking Hall.
