(New York) – The restructuring of SunEdison, Inc., in which Akin Gump served as counsel to the company’s second lien noteholders and lenders, has been named by M&A Advisor as Restructuring of the Year (over $5 billion). Financial restructuring partners Danny Golden and Arik Preis; litigation partner Debbie Newman; corporate finance partner Scott Welkis; and corporate partner Jeff Kochian led the Akin Gump team advising the group.
