Akin Gump Secures Favorable Defense Verdict in ANDA Trial

(New York) – In a significant Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) litigation matter, a team of lawyers at Akin Gump secured a completely favorable defense verdict for a client in a patent infringement suit. The case, which was argued in federal court in the Southern District of New York, centered around five patents – three of which were defended by Akin Gump.

Barbara Mullin, a partner in Akin Gump’s intellectual property practice, led the litigation team that defended the case. Joining her were IP partners Steven Maslowski and Matthew Pearson, counsel Angela Verrecchio and associate Jason Weil.
