Akin Gump Shortlisted for Three Honors in IFLR’s 2016 European Awards

(London) – International Financial Law Review has announced the shortlist for its 2016 European awards, and Akin Gump figures three times in two categories. The firm is shortlisted twice in the category of Restructuring Deals of the Year for its work on the Kaupthing and TORM restructurings, and it is also one of the contenders for Restructuring Team of the Year.

Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony to be held in London on April 21.

In 2015, Akin Gump’s work on Restructuring Deal of the Year and Private Equity Deal of the Year was recognized at the IFLR Americas Awards and IFLR Asia Awards, respectively (learn more here and here). That year, the firm was also shortlisted for the European awards, receiving three nominations, two in the category of restructuring and one in the category of private equity (learn more here).
