Akin Gump Work for Toshiba Sale Shortlisted for Two Honors in ALB Japan Law Awards

(Irvine, Calif.) – Akin Gump is pleased to announce that its work on Toshiba’s sale of Toshiba Memory Corporation has been nominated in two categories for the 14th annual Asian Legal Business Japan Law Awards.

The work is up for consideration in the categories M&A Deal of the Year (Premium) and Technology, Media and Telecommunications Deal of the Year.

Akin Gump advised Kingston Technology, a member of the consortium that formed and controlled the special purpose acquisition company to which all shares of Toshiba Memory Corporation were sold. (Click here to read more about the acquisition).

The award ceremony will be held on June 13 at The Ritz-Carlton, Tokyo.
