In its feature supplement on Russia and the CIS, Legal Business quoted Moscow-based partner Alexey Kondratchik on the active energy sector in the region.
Kondratchik noted, “There are the high-profile joint ventures that get a lot of exposure in the West. But the most interesting ones are the domestic joint ventures, such as Lukoil and Bashneft. These companies come together because some have the licences and some have the infrastructure. That is just the maturity of the domestic market.”
