Alison Chen Named Among Houston Business Journal “Women Who Mean Business”

(Houston) – Akin Gump tax partner Alison Chen has been selected by Houston Business Journal for a 2019 Women Who Mean Business Award.

The criteria for selection, according to the publication, included career achievement, contribution to company and city success, community involvement and leadership.

The awards will be bestowed upon the honorees at a reception on October 3.

Ms. Chen was most recently recognized as a Diversity and Inclusion Champion by Texas Lawyer as part of the publication’s 2019 Professional Excellence Awards (learn more here). She was also recently honored with the Private Practice Achievement Award by her alma mater, the University of Houston Law Center.
