Anthony Pierce Named Minority Business Leader by Washington Business Journal

(Washington, D.C.) Anthony T. Pierce, partner in charge of Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP’s Washington, D.C. office, has been named a 2012 “Minority Business Leader” by the Washington Business Journal . The award was presented at a ceremony held on March 16.

The Minority Business Leader Awards are given out annually to the greater Washington region’s most successful and influential minority executives, business owners and leaders and recognize individuals who demonstrate entrepreneurial drive, creativity and success in professional and philanthropic/community work.

Mr. Pierce was previously honored by Washington Business Journal in 2008 as the winner of Top Washington Lawyer honors in the category of Corporate Litigation.
