Associates Continue to Rank Akin Gump Among Top Firms in Annual Satisfaction Survey

Akin Gump has again been ranked among the top firms in the nation by The American Lawyer in its Midlevel Associates Survey, an annual survey that measures associate satisfaction at large law firms across the U.S. The firm also ranked at or near the top in several regional surveys, including number one in Dallas and in the top 10 in Houston and Los Angeles.

Each year, The American Lawyer solicits responses from third-, fourth- and fifth-year associates on several aspects of job satisfaction—compensation and benefits; training and guidance; relations with partners and other associates; interest in and satisfaction level with the work; the firm’s policy on billable hours; and management’s openness about firm strategies and partnership chances. A firm’s national and city scores are the average of those responses.
