Bloomberg BNA Discusses EEOC Panel Moderated by Don Livingston

In the article “Lawyers, EEOC Official Discuss Guidance On Potential Bias in Criminal History Checks,” Bloomberg BNA’s Employment Discrimination Report discussed a panel discussion held on April 5 and moderated by Akin Gump labor and employment partner and former EEOC general counsel Don Livingston on the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s revised enforcement guidance on use of arrest and conviction records in employment. 

The EEOC issued “Enforcement Guidance on the Consideration of Arrest and Conviction Records in Employment Decisions Under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e et seq.” on April 25, 2012.
