Akin Gump public law and policy practice co-head Brian Pomper participated in the panel “The Legislative Branch and Trade,” convened by the Federalist Society and held on October 25.

Pomper, who formerly served as chief international trade counsel to Senate Finance Committee Chairman Max Baucus (D-MT), discussed a variety of topics relating to international trade, including the development of Congress’ constitutional prerogative over international trade and trade as a topic in the event of a Democratic House.
