Brian Pomper Quoted in POLITICO on Preparing Clients for a Possible Biden Win

POLITICO has quoted Akin Gump public law and policy practice co-head Brian Pomper in the article “How K Street is preparing for Biden.”
The article reports that members of the transition team for former Vice President Joe Biden have conveyed an unspoken message to Washington lobbyists as the campaign nears an end to wait until after the election to approach them. Lobbyists, the article says, are treading carefully, fearful of rubbing Biden aides the wrong way.
Pomper said he agrees with that approach, advising clients “to wait until after the election” to make any contact with the Biden team.
