Business Insurance, in its article “Cyber security seen as leading concern for directors in 2018,” spotlighted the lead topic in Akin Gump’s “Top 10 Topics for Directors in 2018.” This is the 12th edition of this report, which spotlights trends and topics that boards and directors will want to watch in the upcoming year.

The article quotes Akin Gump’s assertion that “stakes will continue to rise for boards in connection with cybersecurity in 2018…Cybersecurity preparedness is essential in 2018 as the risk of, and associated adverse impact of, breaches continue to rise.”
