Corporate Directors Name Akin Gump as One of America’s Top Law Firms

(Washington, D.C.) – For the sixth consecutive year, Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP has been recognized by corporate directors as one of America’s top 20 law firms, according to a recent survey compiled by Corporate Board Member magazine (“America’s Best Corporate Law Firms,” July/August 2006).
The survey asked directors of publicly traded companies nationwide to identify the law firms they most admire, nationally and in 25 metropolitan areas. In addition to being lauded as one of the top 20 law firms nationally, Akin Gump was named as a leader in the Dallas legal market.
In a separate survey, general counsel named Akin Gump as one of the 20 law firms they would most want to represent their companies on national matters.
