Akin Gump has again been recognized by the D.C. Circuit Judicial Conference Standing Committee on Pro Bono Legal Services for having 40 percent of its lawyers with 50 pro bono hours in the preceding calendar year.

On April 1, in honoring a select group of law firms for their level of commitment to pro bono, the circuit’s chief judges spoke at the 12th annual 40 at 50 Judicial Pro Bono Recognition Breakfast on the importance of “free legal representation to individuals with limited financial resources or to charitable organizations.”
