Daniel Sinaiko Speaks to Windpower Monthly on Threshold Power Trust Plans to Go Public
Windpower Monthly, in its article “Analysis - old projects provide new investment opportunity” on a plan to take Threshold Power Trust public, quotes Akin Gump global project finance partner Daniel Sinaiko concerning the plan’s noteworthy elements.
Sinaiko said, “I do think it’s interesting that we’re seeing tax investors looking to exit their investments in an environment where there traditionally has not been a market to do that. So creating a secondary market here is definitely interesting.”
Regarding the plan’s place in the larger U.S. wind industry need for a bigger base of lower-cost capital, he added, “A lot of developers have been trying to crack the code on access to public markets. This is part and parcel of that.”
