Dianne Elderkin Featured Among NLJ’s 2017 Intellectual Property Trailblazers

(Washington, D.C.) – The National Law Journal has chosen Akin Gump intellectual property partner Dianne Elderkin as one of its 2017 Intellectual Property Trailblazers, a recognition given to lawyers that have demonstrated “a deep passion and perseverance” in the areas of patent, copyright, trademark and trade secret law.
In its profile of Ms. Elderkin, NLJ highlighted her successful representation of Bristol-Myers Squibb Company and Ono Pharmaceutical Company, Ltd. in a patent litigation suit against Merck & Co., Inc., which resulted in one of the most substantial patent settlements in U.S. history.
