Dino Barajas Named One of Los Angeles Business Journal’s Most Influential Minority Lawyers

(Los Angeles) – Akin Gump cross-border transactions partner Dino Barajas has been named one of the Los Angeles Business Journal’s Most Influential Minority Lawyers in Los Angeles.
Barajas’ practice encompasses domestic and international project financings in the energy, power, infrastructure and commercial sectors. He has a particular emphasis on Latin American infrastructure project financings, debt financings, and mergers and acquisitions.
In its profile of Barajas, the Business Journal refers to him as “one of the nation’s foremost domestic and international project development and finance attorneys” who has a successful track record of executing significant deals throughout the United States, Latin America and the Caribbean. In the past year, he advised Mitsubishi Corporation subsidiary Diamond Generating Corporation in its acquisition of a 50 percent stake in an approximately 925 megawatt natural gas-fired power project.
