Energy Law Report has published the article “Mexico’s Energy Industry: Midstream Regulations,” written by Akin Gump partners Steven Otillar and Dino Barajas, senior counsel Vera Neinast, counsel William Flynn and associate Eduardo Canales.

The article addresses various aspects of Mexico’s proposed regulations of pipeline transportation and storage of petroleum, liquefied natural gas, and petrochemicals, also known as midstream regulations. The authors discuss the regulations’ main goals and summarize some of the more relevant aspects of them.
