Five Texas Akin Gump Lawyers Recognized by National Diversity Council

(Dallas) – Akin Gump is pleased to announce that five of its lawyers in Texas have been named among the National Diversity Council’s Top 50 Women in Law and Top 50 Multicultural Lawyers.

As part of its inaugural Texas Legal Week, to be held November 7 - 9 in Dallas and Houston, the National Diversity Council will recognize the following Akin Gump lawyers:

Top 50 Women in Law:

Michelle Reed
Lisa Leiman Hearn
Christine B. LaFollette
Phyllis Young

Top 50 Multicultural Lawyers:

Thomas Yang
Phyllis Young

The honorees, according to the organization, are chosen based on their “experience, leadership, and commitment to diversity.”
