Houston Business Journal Names Two at Akin Gump to Its “Who’s Who in Energy” List

(Houston) – Houston Business Journal has named Akin Gump oil and gas partners John Goodgame and Chris LaFollette, the latter serving as partner in charge of the firm’s Houston office, to its 2015 Who’s Who in Energy, recognizing Houston’s “most influential energy leaders.”

Goodgame was named by The Texas Lawbook as its “Top M&A Dealmaker” during the first half of 2015. LaFollette was selected in May as one of The National Law Journal’s “Outstanding Women Lawyers.”

The honorees, nominated by their peers and selected by the Business Journal’s editorial staff, represent all sectors of the energy industry and those that service it. They will be recognized at a reception on November 12.
