IFLR1000 Names Natalia Baratiants, Anne-Marie Godfrey 2021 Women Leaders

(London) – Akin Gump is pleased to share that two of its partners have been selected by IFLR1000 for its IFLR Women Leaders guide for 2021.
Akin Gump Moscow partner in charge Natalia Baratiants and Hong Kong investment management partner Anne-Marie Godfrey have been picked in the Europe, Middle East and Africa and the Asia-Pacific groups, respectively. This is the second consecutive year that these partners have been recognized as Women Leaders by IFLR1000.
IFLR1000 reports that its annual research involves analysis of thousands of research submissions, interviews with thousands of law firm partners and surveys of tens of thousands of clients.
According to IFLR1000, the Women Leaders are “the most prominent female lawyers working in the areas of law we research (financial and corporate transactions and contract, licensing and regulatory project work) within their jurisdictions.” They are noted as an “elite group of lawyers with outstanding reputations within their markets” who have expertise working on complex deals or leadership roles with their firms or their practices or, in some case, both.
