JP Bruynes Quoted on 2013 Hedge Fund Industry Highlights

In an article that was published in December, Akin Gump investment management partner JP Bruynes, spoke with HFMWeek for its 2013 hedge fund industry year-in-review article, “Cross-Border Collaboration, Bilateral Arguments.”
The article lists several developments from the past year that had an impact on the industry, reporting that new cross-border rules, cooperation agreements and bilateral tax treaties seemed to define 2013’s regulatory developments. Bruynes observed that with the world’s financial markets globally linked, “it is only logical that the regulators be connected to each other.”
