LABJ Names Dan Lynch Among its Leaders in Law

(Los Angeles) – Los Angeles Business Journal has named Akin Gump corporate partner Dan Lynch to its Leaders in Law series for 2021 in the category of Corporate Firm Attorney of the Year.
The Business Journal reports that Mr. Lynch is a highly regarded emerging leader in the firm’s renowned global project finance practice[,] maintains a cutting-edge practice and is regularly called upon to assist leading renewable energy clients in highly complex transactions with a particular focus on power hedges.”
Mr. Lynch, as the publication notes, is a “pioneer in the area of deploying technological solutions to solve clients’ compliance challenges[, having] spearheaded the creation of an innovative tool designed to help sort through various derivative financial arrangements and help commercial users navigate different hedging strategies, Akin Gump’s Power Hedge Settlement Calculator.”
