(Los Angeles) – Akin Gump cross-border transactions partner Dino Barajas has again been named by Latinvex, a provider of news and analysis pertaining to Latin American business, as one of the top 100 lawyers in Latin America. He was similarly recognized in 2014, 2015 and 2016.

The rankings span six major categories (arbitration and litigation, banking and finance, capital markets, corporate/M&A, energy and project finance) as well as other specialties, including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA). Mr. Barajas was selected for both his energy and project finance work.

Latinvex says the criteria used for making the selections were a combination of factors, including recent track record on major deals and business, prominence of a firm in Latin America and rankings by third parties such as Chambers and Partners, Legal 500 and Thomson Reuters.
